Please spread the word to all 8th - 11th graders who are interested in playing soccer next Fall 2016 at Northridge. We are going to discuss off season /summer program and info about tryouts. Feel free to leave early or come late.

Cost at the door will be $10.00 per person (soccer girls and managers eat for free)

2015 Youth Skills Camp

Team and Parents,
The flyer was passed out in practice today. Our skills camp with be Thursday Sept 17 and  Friday Oct 2nd. All players must participate and will be required to sign up 2 players, in addition to siblings. Remember, siblings are free. They still need to fill out a form. This flyer will also be sent to all Junior High and Elementary Schools that are in  NHS boundaries.  Players outside of our boundraies are welcomed to attend this camp. Any parents that would like to help, please call me ASAP. Here's the flyer.

Ordering Training Shirts

Parents and Team,

We are going to place an order for an additional training shirt for all the players and managers.  This is covered by the team, because we were able to do so well on our car wash.

We are extending this order for families. Families can order shirts and players can order extra shirts. We are offering the black, red and white. Sizes are Youth S - Large, Women's S - XL and Men's S - XXL. Cost is $15 per shirt. Some colors might be on back order, so but we'll try our best to get your shirt in the color you want.

We'll put the order in Weds AM. Amy Hayes and other team moms will have sample sizes to try on between Varsity and JV game. Please bring payment (checks made out to NHS) and write have Amy write down your shirt order.  We'll put the order in Weds AM. We should have the shirts back in two weeks.

Thanks for your support. Tomorrow, we'll also have picture rosters for our fans so they can get to know the players better. There is a digital image in the prior post.

Car Wash 8/29 - New Record Holder

Congratulations - We have the new record for the Patriot Car Wash Fundraiser. So proud of your girls. Big thanks to Patriot Car Wash. Also to Amy Hayes and the other 6 mothers and Coach Wyatt! Looks like we can order another training shirt for everyone!

Also, we'll pass out sweatshirts at end of practice on Monday. 

I'll see all non-freshman at 2:45 for Film in Excalibur Room. Please be dressed and ready for practice (don't need to be in cleats for film) or 3:40 for the Freshman on the field.

Game film for Roy Var and JV is up on youtube. Just search "Jonathan Auger". Watch the game(s) you played in and bring your homework assignment to practice. Please evaluate yourself. Write down your 3 strengths and 3 weaknesses from Roy game and record the exact time from the Roy video.

Example:

Strength: Recover the ball - 1H - 6:15
Weakness: Pass without looking up - 2H  18:15

Patriot Car Wash on Highway 193 (Same parking lot as new Maverick)

Wear Red Ridge soccer shirts

Bring at least 3 cars, tell them to let us know who they are there for.

Use social media to let friends and family know to come and support the Lady Knights

Car wash prices are $7, wash and vacuum $10, students $5
Additional donations are gladly accepted.

Red vs White Game and Player Parent Meeting Friday 8/14

The Annual Red vs White Game and the Player / Parent meeting is this Friday, August 14th. Warmups start at 4:00 Game starts at 4:30. We'll play two 40 minute halves. Sophomores will be in white, all other grades in Red. Please wear game shirts and shorts, but wear your crazy socks. There will be awards for the ugliest and most festive socks.

We'll have a dinner and player / parent meeting around 6:15 - 7:00. This meeting is for players and their parents. We'll provide sandwiches, drinks and paper products from our team budget. We have made the following food assignments:

Freshman - Bring Dessert
Sophomores - Bring Salads
Dark Hair Juniors - Fruit
Seniors and Blonde Juniors - Chips
