South Weber Parade (Sat 8/8) OPTIONAL

For the parade this Saturday, our group needs to meet at the parking lot west of the gravel pit on 7400 S. (The old Olympic parking lot just off at S. Weber Dr0 at 10:00 AM. Bring candy to throw out, squirt guns or water toys, or water balloons.

If anyone has old coolers or any container to hold water, please bring those to practice tomorrow (Friday) to give to Ashley.

Please wear either you red game jersey or red "Ridge Soccer" shirt and red game shorts. Also good shoes for walking.

We are right before the NHS football team, so prepare to get soaked. This is an optional activity.

The parade finishes at South Weber Central park around 11:30. There are vendors, booths and music if you want to hang out for a while.

Red vs White Friday (8/7)

Ladies, please wear your full uniform (all red or all white), including socks and shin guards tomorrow. Warm ups start at 9:00 Sharp. We'll use the scoreboard and play 2 40 minute halves:

2015 Team Final Roster

Congratulations, the following players have been selected for the 2015 NHS Girls Soccer team. Please be on the field with shin guards and cleats tomorrow (8/5) at 9:00 AM sharp. We'll practice until 11:30. We'll handout uniforms and take measurements for Warm Ups after practice, so have your rides pick you up at the school at 12:00 PM.

IMPORTANT: You must get your Physical Form A signed by Tuesday, or you can't play in our first game. Please print the form off of registermyathlete.com. I will need the signed copy turned into me.

IMPORTANT: You must pay your player fees ($90) by next Monday 8/10. This covers the bus rides, ref fees, admin fees. The Player Pack fees ($125) are due by the following Thursday 8/13. If you would like to sell a banner to cover your fees, I'll have the information at practice tomorrow.

Summer Fun

Thanks for everyone that was involved in the Summer Program. Super excited about the effort and fun. HUGE THANKS to Ashely Hayes for being an awesome leader running the last two weeks. Also thanks to Jessica and Jaden for their help. Good luck on Tryouts next Monday. See you all 9:00 AM Sharp on the track in tennis shoes. Bring Cleats and Water. Fall 2015 Tryout Information

FALL 2015 NHS GIRLS SOCCER TRYOUTS

Dates

Tryouts will be Aug 3 - 5. We'll start 9:00 sharp and go until 11:30. Monday, we'll start on the track in tennis shoes, then move to field by 9:30. Please wear proper cleats and SHIN GUARDS for the rest of tryouts. Please bring plenty of water.

Registration

Just like last year, the registration process in all on-line. The only form we will collect will be the Physical Form A. Everything else will be submitted on line. Please use the following link to start registration on the RegisterMyAthlete website:   http://www.registermyathlete.com/schools/
You need to create a login and register your athlete. Fees are not collected until after tryouts. 
Please complete the online registration, except Fees and Physical Form A BEFORE tryouts August 3rd.

Medical Physical

Each player will need a Physical "Form A" completed AFTER tryouts (8/6), but BEFORE first game (8/11). Forms are found on the RegisterMyAthlete website towards the end of the process. We need to collect these before our first game 8/12. Please make appointments now for the physical, since there is a very short window to get these completed. Form B are no longer accepted.

Fees

Fees for 2015 are finalized. There are no fees for tryouts, only players that make the team will pay fees. The player registration fees for all admin costs is $90. Also, each player must pay $125.00 for player pack apparel items. Player pack include 2 game shorts, 2 game socks, warm up pants, warm up jacket and game day shirt. All player pack items are kept by the player. Jerseys are owned by the school and will be handed out and collects back after the season. So total amount due is $215.00. Please pay in the NHS Main office starting 8/5 and bring Coach Auger a receipt by 8/11.

Results

We'll post tryout results each night on this website by 5:00. We'll post the first initial and last name of players that are invited back for the next day.

Team End of Year Banquet

Team Banquet is Thursday, November 13th from 6:30 to 9:00 at the NHS Cafeteria. Dinner will be served at 6:30. Awards, Pictures, Gifts and Slide Show to follow. No cost for Players, Manager and Senior parents. Cost is $5 per NON-Senior parent. Everyone needs to  RSVP to Michelle Fitzgerald by Wed, Oct 16th. (801) 721-9605 .
